What this site collects, why, and how to get it removed. Short, because we collect very little.
Who we are
The Cut LLC runs house nights in Austin, Texas, and this website. Questions about anything on this page go to bookings@thecutatx.com.
Your email address
If you join our list, we keep your email address and the date you signed up. We use it to tell you about new dates and nights, and for nothing else. We do not sell it or give it to anyone to market to you.
The list is stored in Google Sheets, and our emails are sent through an email delivery service that holds the list in order to send them. Both handle it on our behalf only.
Every email has an unsubscribe link. Using it takes you off the list straight away. To have your address deleted entirely, email us.
Tickets
Tickets are sold and issued by DICE. When you buy, DICE collects your details under its own privacy policy. Links from this site to DICE carry a tag saying the visit came from our website, so we can tell which sales it produced. It identifies the website, not you.
Cookies and storage
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It remembers, for the length of your visit only, that you have already seen the opening animation, so it does not play twice. Spotify players embedded on event pages are run by Spotify and may set their own cookies when used.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider records basic request information such as IP address and browser type to keep the site running and secure. We do not use it to identify you.
21 and over
Our events are 21+, and this site is not meant for anyone under 21. We do not knowingly collect details from minors. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete them.
Changes
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it. The date at the top says when it was last updated.
